2009!

Well, 2009 really turned out to be a great year for Timothy's music. I would even go as far to say, it was one of the best years ever! Just scroll down through our 2009 news or visit our press/reviews page and read all about it! We released four more singles this year from his latest album You Got It: "Got Good Friends", "Tell Me Where It Hurts", "Not Done Yet" (a new Gator Fight Song) and "One Small Miracle" for the Holiday's. "You Got It", Timothy's first single and the title track from the CD, shipped out to radio stations across America in September of 2008. We just received a great review of "One Small Miracle" (a benefit for St. Jude's) this month from Robert K. Oermann of Nashville's Music Row Magazine!

DISClaimer by Robert K. Oermann
It is "ballad" week here on Music Row.
Steve Azar, Alan Jackson, John Anderson, Carrie Underwood, Timothy Craig, Josh Canova and John Fogerty are all vying for your attention with slower-paced outings.
-This acoustic ballad of pleading and yearning is Craig's finest single to date. I like the simplicity of the organ/accordion/guitar arrangement as well as his heartfelt vocal. It is a benefit disc for St. Jude's.

Timothy and his band (The TCB) also performed at several huge festivals, had several live interviews with various radio stations around the country, along with a crazy amount of airplay. We also gained plenty of press and airplay with the new Gator Fight Song "Not Done Yet".  A special thanks to Dave Darrel at Kix Country 92.9 in Port Charlotte, Florida for his interview with Timothy.  To learn more, do a Google search on 'Timothy Craig Not Done Yet' or visit our press/reviews page. To find store locations or purchasing information, visit our "Not Done Yet" music page. All of Timothy's music is available from his website and  iTunes!

Happy Holiday's! -Amy C.-

St. Jude's "One Small Miracle" / Tim's New Gator Fight Song

Timothy is releasing the fourth single from his new album You Got It on November 9th. This new tune is called "One Small Miracle" which Timothy wrote by himself and all the proceeds are going to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The single will be sent out once again to over 1,800 country radio stations in America, just in time for the Holiday Season. Request "One Small Miracle" at your favorite station, the phone call might make one big difference!

"Not Done Yet" is still thriving within the Gator Nation! Since our last news flash, the new Gator fight song has picked up momentum. Two more Gainesville, Florida, retail outlets (Gator Plus & The Gator Shop) are now selling "Not Done Yet" in their stores. That makes five Gainesville stores now! During the Gator Homecoming weekend in G'ville, Timothy met up with Tim Tebow's mother Pam and gave her a few copies.  She said she already had one copy that another players mom gave her earlier that day! ROCK 104 in Gainesville and Thunder Country 102.3 in Ocala have been playing "Not Done Yet". The Ft. Myers, Florida "News-Press" ran an update story in their paper and on Saturday, October 31st., the Jacksonville Florida Newspaper "The Florida Times-Union" printed a story.  Since the Florida/Georgia game is always played in Jacksonville, Michael DiRocca decided to write an article about "Not Done Yet" for their Sports Section and Heather Lovejoy mentioned the song in her Music Notes/Entertainment Section. Timothy also had a live phone interview with DiRocca on a sports radio talk show Saturday morning before kickoff. They played some of the song and Timothy talked about the inspiration behind it. On a final note, Timothy received another Thank You card from Urban Meyer on Friday the 30th. The first card we received was in January, thanking Timothy for sending him the You Got It album. This new card was for the "Not Done Yet" (Gator Version) CD single. Meyer thanked Timothy and said the Gators appreciate his support.

So for you internet shoppers that bleed orange and blue, download your copy of
Tim's New Gator Fight Song. "Not Done Yet" is now available on iTunes for just 99 cents!

Go Gators! -Amy C.-

Special Thanks to Michael DiRocca @ The Florida Times-Union,
David Dorsey @ The Ft. Myers News-Press, ROCK 104, Thunder Country, The Gator Shop and Gator Plus!

"Tell Me Where It Hurts" and "Not Done Yet"...

"Tell Me Where It Hurts", Timothy's new single from his new album You Got It has been moving up the Music Row Country Breakout Chart ever since it hit radio stations! It has only been on the chart for seven weeks and is now sitting at number #115.  Timothy has released two previous singles but "Tell Me Where It Hurts" has risen the most rapidly and has the highest ranking so far. I want to thank Billy Block for debuting "Tell Me Where It Hurts" on his 103 WKDF radio show here in Nashville and for the several live interviews with Timothy. The TCB also had a great show at 12th & Porter / The Billy Block Show on Sept. 14th. The band even put a new spin on a old tune written by Timothy called "Learning To Live Without You", which everyone loved!

A BIG THANKS! to Larry Simpson at the Texas Broadcasting Network (Sweet Southern Sounds) for his internet based live chat room interview with Timothy. The interview was a full 30 minutes and Larry played Timothy's first three singles "You Got It", "Got Good Friends" and "Tell Me Where It Hurts". Fans got to interact in a chat room setting with instant messaging questions and comments. It was the first time Timothy had participated in this type of interview, but said he thought it was a really fresh and fun concept! Below are a few cool email comments that we recently received!

"Timothy Craig has the voice, sound, and charisma of a future star", "Craig has a voice that cuts forcefully through the instrumentation, with just the right blend of smoothness and roughness", says Los Angeles based Music Connection Magazine.

Hello! This is Cindy Hayward, Music Director from KMOK in Lewiston, Idaho! I listened to your music and I love it! Great melodies with lyrics that hold your attention and touch your heart. "Tell Me Where It Hurts" is definitely my favorite out of all of them, but they are all great! Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with all of us! Your music is awesome!

Timothy Craig and Tim Tebow are "Not Done Yet."

On Saturday, September 5th.,Timothy turned on the tube to watch the first day of the 2009 ESPN College Football Game Day and wished he had written a College Football song to support his team the Florida Gator's. He looked down on the coffee table and saw his copy of Sports Illustrated with Tim Tebow on the cover that read  NOT DONE YET and realized he already had his song! Timothy wrote a song with Billy Falcon called "Not Done Yet" and it was on his new album You Got It. The song was about Timothy keeping his promise to pursue his dream with music. So that Labor Day weekend Timothy rewrote the verses and voila, the Gator version of the song was born. Two weeks later, Timothy was in Gainesville, Florida (Gator Country)  for the Sept. 19th. TN / Florida game with CD in hand, resung, remastered, packaged and ready to go! The chorus remained the same and also related to the Gator's quarterback Tim Tebow who made a promise last September 2008, after the loss to Ole miss ---- "I just want to say one thing. To the fans and everybody in Gator Nation, I'm sorry, extremely sorry. I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season, and you will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season, and you will never see a team play harder than we will the rest of the season. God bless" ---- Timothy had sent a copy of his new CD You Got It to head football coach Urban Meyer after that loss which included a letter with the chorus of the song "Not Done Yet" written out "I Won't Quit, My Heart Won't Let, Me Break A Promise, I Can't Forget, I'm Not Done Yet". Well, the very day of the National Championship Game we received a package from the University of Florida. Enclosed was an autographed photo from Urban Meyer and a Thank You card! As you already know, the Gators won that night and Tim Tebow kept his promise. Ten day's later, Tim Tebow graced the cover of Sports Illustrated and in big block letters read NOT DONE YET. Freaky coincidence? This is  about the time Timothy was driven to tattoo the inside if his right arm with the words Not Done Yet...

Timothy just returned from that trip in Florida, which was supposed to be a little two day media blitz in Gainesville, Florida. The Gainesville Sun Newspaper loved the song so much that they filmed a full on interview that aired on their website Friday, September 18th. After the game on Saturday, Timothy decided to drive south to his hometown of Ft. Myers and the Ft. Myers News-Press did the same type of video interview for their website as well as a front page story on their Tuesday, Sept. 22nd edition. Fox 4 News in Ft. Myers met with Timothy at Brent's Music, a local music store and covered the story that aired on Fox 4 News at 10pm on Thursday, Sept 24th. The Cape Coral Breeze Newspaper then followed with a front page story on Friday, Sept. 25th. Fox also scheduled Timothy to appear on their morning show called Fox 4 Morning Blend on Sept. 29th. (which aired on Thursday, October 1st at 8am). So what was supposed to be a two day blitz turned into a two week frenzy! The "Not Done Yet" CD single is on sale in Gainesville and Ft. Myers and will be available on iTunes very soon. We shall see what happens in the near future. Timothy is planning on being back in Gainesville in a few weeks for the Gator Homecoming game and the song has already been sent to ESPN, CBS Sports, Florida Gator Radio Stations, etc.

We are just getting started, both song's are "Not Done Yet"! -Amy C.-

Thank You! Bill Dean @ The Gainesville Sun, David Dorsey & Amanda Inscore @ The News-Press, Meghan McCoy @ The Cape Coral Breeze, Jennifer Fairfield-Williams @ Fox 4 Morning Blend, Brent @ Brent's Music, Brian Roberts @ Rainbow Records and Nandy Ferguson @ The Florida Book Stores!

Big June it was...

June was even bigger and better than we could have imagined! Let me get started with the CMA Music Festival / Fan Fair. Timothy has now been invited to participate for three straight years and every year keeps getting better. It was a record year for us with selling his new album You Got It as well as T-Shirts. Several of his fans were spotted sporting their "You Got It" or "Got Good Friends" T-Shirts in the Stadium, the Honky Tonks, Convention Center and all over town! Thanks everyone for stopping by Timothy's booth and for checking out the TCB's live show in the Convention Center. Timothy, Mitchell Curtis and Kale Nelson put on a great unplugged set in the Acoustic Corner on Sunday, June 14th. Thanks Nashville Music Guide for the all the press on Timothy in your June/July issue. You can check it all out on our press/reviews page.

The band had a short break and loaded up their gear and headed north to another huge festival in Wisconsin called The Star Spangled Celebration. This festival included several well known artists like Kellie Pickler, Rodney Atkins, Blake Shelton, James Otto, Kenny Rogers and Gretchen Wilson just to name a few. The TCB kicked off Saturday's June 27th string of shows at 1:00 pm and played every song from the new CD as well as "Crime of the Century" a song from his last album Grand References. We were all a bit taken back when Timothy walked over to our merchandise table after his show to find a line of fans that stretched longer than a football field waiting to meet him and purchase a CD or T-Shirt! The crowd in Richland Center, Wisconsin definitely loves Timothy's music and it took Timothy about two hours to meet everyone who was waiting. Trust me, there was no one complaining! We want to thank country radio stations WRCO and Phil Nee (for making it all happen), Michael Anthony at Outlaw Country in Dodgeville, and Mariah Lynn at WQPC & WVRQ Today's Hit Country in Viroqua for the interviews and for playing Timothy's music as well as all the other Wisconsin stations that are supporting Timothy. We also want to thank Dawn Kiefer at the Richland Observer Newspaper for writing such a great article, which can be read on our press/reviews page if you're interested. There are also several photo's from the Star Spangled Celebration on our photo gallery!

Timothy's "Got Good Friends" at Bellas Buckles! Timothy became friends with owner Jennifer Caprio of Bellas Buckles during this years CMA Music Festival. They both had a booth next to each other and had an appreciation for each others work. Check out the cool jewelry for your hips at www.bellasbuckles.com

Looks like we are all set to release Timothy's third single from the You Got It album called "Tell Me Where It Hurts" on August 3rd. We have been getting a lot of positive feedback from fans and radio on this song and are excited to get it out to radio stations across the country. Please call in and request "Tell Me Where It Hurts" at your favorite country station.

I told ya June was gonna be big!  -Amy C.-

His new single "Got Good Friends" went out to over 1,700 Country Radio Stations in America, 350 International Outlets and major Internet Radio Stations on March 2nd. We are very excited about the new single and were already getting some great feedback. KIX Country (a Clear Channel Station) in Southwest Florida interviewed Timothy last Sunday and aired "Got Good Friends", they even added the song to their play list and it's open for listener requests. 103 WKDF here in Nashville interviewed Timothy the past two Sunday's and is also playing the single along with WRCO in Wisconsin who has added it into their regular rotation. Timothy first single "You Got It" has 109 adds that we know of and reached #158 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart!

Not Done Yet & CRS Week...

Timothy just kicked off his new year with a new tattoo! The tattoo was inspired by the song "Not Done Yet" which was written by Timothy & Billy Falcon and is on his new album "You Got It". Being such an avid Florida Gator Fan, Timothy sent a copy of his new CD to head football coach Urban Meyer (Urban loves Jimmy Buffett and Country Music). The package also included a letter with the chorus of the song "Not Done Yet" written out.
-"I Won't Quit, My Heart Won't Let, Me Break A Promise, I Can't Forget, I'm Not Done Yet"-

Tim Tebow also made a promise back in September, after the Ole Miss loss. -"I just want to say one thing. To the fans and everybody in Gator Nation, I'm sorry, extremely sorry. I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season, and you will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season, and you will never see a team play harder that we will the rest of the season. God bless"-

Well, the very day of the National Championship Game we received a package from the University of Florida. The package contained an autographed photo from Urban Meyer and a Thank You card. As you already know, the Gators won that night and Tim Tebow kept his promise! Ten day's later, Tim Tebow graced the cover of Sports Illustrated and in big block letters read  NOT DONE YET. Freaky coincidence, who knows? Check out the song by clicking on our Music Button/You Got It album cover.

Just wanted to mention we have some cool shows already lining up for the new year, including big plans for CRS (Country Radio Seminar) New Faces week. This event is a great way for radio station folks from all over the U.S. to check out new artists here in Nashville. We are also gearing up to release Timothy's second single called "Got Good Friends". The song will hit radio stations around the country and beyond March 1st. We had a lot of success with the first single "You Got It" with 109 adds! We feel pretty positive that "Got Good Friends" will strike even a bigger chord with radio station adds and The Music Row Country Breakout Chart.

We're Not Done Yet...  -Amy C.-
