Australia, Drum-Off, and Timothy Craig Unplugged !

Gordy Germaine, guitarist for the TC Band, spent all of September in Australia playing guitar for a new project.  He will return to the TC Band mid-October.  Jerry Beller, drummer for the TC Band, will be entering a drum-off competition at Guitar Center (Sherman Oaks) on October 9th at 6:00pm.  It will consist of a 5 minute solo being judged on rhythm and originality.  Good luck, Jerry!  The competition is open to the public, so come check it out!

Rumor has it that Timothy has been working on an unplugged album containing 10 brand new songs and is still dabbling in the acting world..  I'll keep you posted as more information comes available.

Thanks to Studio City Lifestyle Magazine for the article on Tim.

Love ya!  -Amy C.-

Whisky-A-GoGo and Germany...
Thank you everyone who bought advanced tickets to the show on Friday night.  The Whisky was a-rockin' and all the bands were a-smokin'.  The crowd ate up the CD's after the show.  Jenna Elfman of the popular TV show, Dharma and Greg, was at the show and took home the whole Timothy Craig collection.  I thought the TC Band (Gordy, Liisa, Jerry, Gabe, and Tim) gave one of their best performances.  The band was definitely  in the zone.  The band opened with the thundering drum intro from "Where Will You Be" and threw two new songs into the set.  The first song was "One Small Miracle" which got a huge response from the crowd.  The second new song "Hot Rolls", a funny anthem written about Tim's past waiting tables and bartending experiences, was a true crowd-pleaser.  "Hot Rolls" has quickly become a favorite and will be heavily requested for sure at every show.  Even though this was the debut of "Hot Rolls", the audience was singing along by the second chorus.  So make sure you tip twenty percent, or else... !

An online German magazine purchased Tim's "State Line" CD and gave it a great review on their website.  Check it out at www.home-of-rock.com.  (Click on the CD Review link and then select Craig, Timothy.)  We have translated the review.  Click on press/reviews to read this great review of "State Line".

Keep on rockin'!  -Amy C.-

Dennis Quaid & Music Connection Magazine!

The Timothy Craig Band opened for Dennis Quaid at the Key Club Wednesday night.  It was one of the best TC Band shows I've seen.  The band played great, looked great and you could tell they were really having a good time!  It was a nice touch to hear Timothy strumming an acoustic guitar in the song "Smell The Roses".  The Key Club was crowded, the sound system was definitely top shelf, and so was the club staff.  Everyone was really nice!  Dennis came out barefoot and in jeans and delivered a high-energy set of some of his favorite cover tunes, including "Great Balls of Fire" as an encore.  Plenty of groupies at this show, believe me!  Who knows, you just might catch Timothy opening for Dennis again sometime soon. Thanks to Lara Scott from Star 98.7 for plugging the TC Band on the air and for making it out to the show.

Check out the March 12th issue of Music Connection Magazine.  Lynne Bronstein wrote a great review on the TC Band's performance at the last Whisky-A-Go-Go show on February 10th.  "They play off each other with the thrashing chords and gun-fire rhythms of a sixties garage band, much to the delight of the audience... Crowd-pleasing, rollicking rock."  Thanks Lynne!  (To read the entire article click here.)

Looking forward to the Whisky show on April 27th.  We might even get the debut performance of two brand new songs!  -Amy C.-

Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On At The Whisky !

Wow!  What a show at the Whisky-A-Go-Go Saturday night.  The band had a great set.  Big thanks to the rowdy crowd at the show and thanks to James Naughton for filling in on bass while Dan was out of town.  It was exciting!  You could certainly tell that James was pumped up to be playing with the band.

A very special thanks to writer Lynn Brunstein and photographer Rod Goodman from Music Connection Magazine for covering the show.

The crowd loved the music and we'll be sure to have more CD's on hand for the next show.  We almost ran out this time!  You never know what will happen at any show with the Timothy Craig Band!  Thanks!  -Amy C.-
