| Biography
Timothy Craig was born in
Wisconsin and grew up in Ft. Myers, Florida.
His passion for music undoubtedly stems from his father, who put himself
through college writing songs and fronting a five piece rock and roll band
in the early 60's. Surrounded by vintage guitars, classic drum kits, and
tube amplifiers, Timothy formed his first band The CT2Express. The band
played alot of gigs, though never outside Timothy's living room. While in
college in Gainesville, Florida, inspired by Tom Petty, John Mellencamp and
Jimmy Buffett, Timothy began writing his own songs. Realizing that the
closest music hub was in Nashville he moved there, put a band together and
spent years playing his original music in the clubs and outdoor venues
including, opening for Cheap Trick at Nashville's Riverfest. The band also
played several shows at the Tennessee State Women's Prison! In February of
2000, Timothy moved to Los Angeles California, put a new band together and
sang his songs in all the legendary L.A. clubs like The Whisky a GoGo, The
Roxy, Club Lingerie and The Key Club, once opening for Dennis Quaid's band.
The TCB (Timothy Craig Band) even performed between the Hollywood All-Star
baseball game and the
Anaheim Angels baseball game at the Anaheim Angeles Stadium. In May of 2001,
after landing various acting roles including a police officer on 'NYPD Blue'
(2001) and the role of 'Phil
Everly' of 'The Everly Brothers' on the NBC television series 'American
Dreams' (2002 & 2003),
Timothy joined the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).
Currently, Timothy is spending most of his time in Nashville. He is a
Sterling Member of the Country Music Association (CMA) and has participated
in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 CMA Music Festivals / Fan Fair. He also performed
at the 2009 Star Spangled Celebration in Wisconsin with Gretchen Wilson,
Blake Shelton and Kenny Rogers. In April of 2011, The University of Florida
radio station (WRUF) invited Timothy to sing his new Gator Fight Song "Not
Done Yet" (inspired by Tim Tebow) at the Orange and Blue football game. The
event was broadcast live on both 103.7 The Gator and WRUF AM Sports Radio
850 from the McDonalds countdown to kick off pre-game fan fest in
Gainesville.
